Kindred is a great book. It’s about a husband
(Kevin) and wife (Dana) in the 1970s. One day a young boy Rufus is about to
die. Rufus somehow makes Dana time travel to him and she has to save his life.
Throughout the story Dana time travels again and again sometime (willing or
not) she brings Kevin. She finds out at some point that she has been time
traveling to the 1800s during slavery. Dana and Kevin find a way to survive in
the past with Rufus’s help. I loved this book! It was historical fiction book
and it had a cool way to think about time travel. This was one of my favorite
books and I suggest it.
